Series of woven fabrics

Project in collaboration with Sjoerd Ebberink and Textiellab Tilburg

We did a textile research on the jacquard weaving loom. We challenged material proportions of various yarns, such as paper, rubber, mohair and experiment with the textural effect of variations between small and large loops.

The different combinations of materials and structures create a language of form and tactility that resembles the fur and skin of animals.
